Please see below update i received from the office of Hon. Ralph Goodale
I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received Dec 27,2017.
Standard processing time is 6 months. This means 80% of routine applications are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer.
Eligibility is under review.
Criminality passed Jan 16, 2018 for both adults.
Security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and
timelines are not available.
Medicals are valid until Dec 2018.
Sincerely,
Robyn Sullivan

Please is there a reason why our security would not have been commenced since?

Did you order GCMS notes to understand why your eligibility is under review ?
Eligibility review could be for one/more of the documents you have submitted...
Review could be required for some of these reasons...
- Job responsibilities in the Letter of Reference is not meeting the NOC/job role
- Proof of Funds - They are need a review for the documents you have submitted or incase the funds are not meet the cut off suggested by IRCC
- Points for relatives in Canada - Could be that you have not submitted enough proof of relatives in Canada etc...
Thats why GCMS notes help you to decode that... dont wait order GCMS notes.

Thank you.... This is very clear now.... the funny thing is they have not asked for any additional document (i.e. updated Proof of Fund, or any discussion around my job level etc). So its pretty difficult to know if i can provide them with any documents

So does anyone know when you have review required for eligibility what is the timeline we are looking at? Seems like they just put our files in a folder which is forgotten. Its been 7+ months here.

Sorry to say but, Seems like Nov and Dec applicants who had eligibility reviews(AORs) are seeing some progress in their applications now.
What is you AOR?
