Hello just curious- how did the IRCC know about a gap in your passport from your application? Didn't you submit your current passport bio page scan in your application?
Best of luck in the process!

Yes i scanned my bio page i have used only one passport with in the 5yrs eligibility period passport expired in October 2023 and was issued October 2018 so they were asking for explanation for the gap between October 2023 to the date i submitted my application if I ever left Canada
Type: Online application
Location: Burlington, ON
Application: Single, applied alone
Application sent: Dec 27th, 2024.
AOR: I initially submitted online application on Dec 17, I received an email today says that my application is missing information. I logged in and it says I have other people's information in my supporting document - I included my property purchase agreement as part of the supporting documents. So I removed that document and resubmitted, the application date however changed to today's date. May I ask if anyone knows that will they process my resubmitted application quicker since I already submitted once, or it will be treated as a new application... thanks...
"Question 9.
Physical Presence and the five (5) year eligibility period
The eligibility period is five (5) years before the date you sign your
application. The minimum amount of time you need to be physically
present in Canada is 1095 days within the five years immediately before
applying. We encourage applicants to apply with more than the minimum
requirement of 1095 days of physical presence, to account for
any miscalculations of absences, or any other aspect that could
lower the physical presence total below 1095 days."

It will most likely be today's date as they officially returned the application to you and you had to resubmit it. In any case, the AOR will state the receipt date. Please let us know what it ends up being.....
