I think in our situation, when people stuck in the background step, we don't have any solutions other than waiting or the writ of mandamus. However, it's still a good idea to see what your MP has to say during your meeting.
I got a call from our MP yesterday, he said everything is complete, and final admin work is being done and that we should expect to be scheduled for oath within the next two weeks or so.
For context: our prohibitions was pending and finally today it is complete. Now, the citizenship ceremony: not started.

Thank you! I hope you get the updates you want from them very soon. We submitted December 27, 2023. Not sure about the office but we applied from Winnipeg.
Today, we got another update - our oath is scheduled for October 22!

they are not helpful at all, and you will get the same answer when you call agent, even worst. if you are in security screen phase , they cant do anything. it is just wasting time to back and forth sending email and getting the same answer you already know.

if i were you i would give them call or see them in person with an appointment. also, try to call agent every single day and ask them to escalate it to office and put a note on your application for officer.
