Hi, I have read in other groups that if your background verification is in progress for more than 2 months then it most likely is in enhanced screening. Is that true?

Hi, I have read in other groups that if your background verification is in progress for more than 2 months then it most likely is in enhanced screening. Is that true?
No. That's not true. Background check has stages. IRCC infamously pauses/holds applications between those stages. Very few people are sent for enhanced security screening. A lot of people assume they are in it though.
any Oct, Nov and Dec AOR applicants waiting for final decision (if biometrics, medical and eligibility is passed in tracker only) and PVO in Montreal only can join this group https://chat.whatsapp.com/DU4JQIkCXZD0jxEwwBx8MF
Is there any Alberta PNP Express Entry candidate in this group, whose all checks ( medical, BIL, Background Check) are completed and waiting for a P1 email?
No. That's not true. Background check has stages. IRCC infamously pauses/holds applications between those stages. Very few people are sent for enhanced security screening. A lot of people assume they are in it though.
Looks like you have a lot of knowledge about IRCC. Please let me know if you know of a situation like this. If someone is not in Canada and they get P1 email can that delay/impede the processing?
