Hi Everyone. I am going to apply for my in laws visitor visa application. My questions are below.
2. I am the only source of income in Canada, will this affect the decision?
3. How much proof of money should a host show? And how old should the bank statement be?
4. Do I have to upload our son's passport too with other documents?
5. My in laws are retired, we have bank statements and CA evaluation report from India, will these be enough?
6. I am seeing alot of rejections recently. Would this be a right time to apply?

1. It is unless your spouse is supporting a super visa.
2. Your in-laws shows their funds. Your funds can be included but may not be assessed. Funds within last 6 months.
3. What does your son have to do with it?
4. Maybe if they have enough in funds to support a visit.
5. Never a wrong time to apply. Their applications are assessed based on their ties to home country, their funds and travel history
Hi I have a unique situation - my family has applied for a visitor visa, and has filled up the biometric request form. The date that VFS provided - my family can't make it. Is there a way to reschedule it? The language in the FAQ is very confusing.. as in:|
A) How is failure to attend different from re-schedule?
B) Do I need to inform someone if I cannot attend?
C) What happens if I can't give biometrics within 30 days?
Can someone please guide me?
Failure to attend allotted appointment: In an event that you are unable to attend your biometric appointment at the allotted date and time, you will be blocked from requesting an appointment for 5 calendar days. After 5 calendar days, you may raise a new request which will be served on a first come first serve basis.
Re-schedule or Cancel Appointment: Owing to the huge demand for biometric appointments, we will not be able to entertain any request for re-schedule or cancellation of appointments. You are strongly suggested to adhere to your allotted date and time failing which, your appointment request will be queued at the end.
When I need to upload a document for visa application, should I upload a scanned document (such as passport, National ID, etc), or what format does IRCC need? Is JPEG form of a clear photo good enough?

Thanks, how do I create a new account in this portal. I am preparing to submit visitor visa application and was directed to GC account key where we have to fill PDF forms and upload it.
In below new portal, when I click sign up - I see * Invite code (required) and I have no idea about this.
