LPP completed June 23, still waiting for Oath ceremony invite.

All have simple question - I got my citizenship last year in June 2022 as a PR in EE, process was smooth as per timelines, submitted citizenship app for my two kids under section 5(2) in Dec 2022, I got application confirmation in email from IRCC for one kid on Feb 2023 but other one never got anything back till date, I can see in ECAS that other one is also in AOR stage since Feb 2023, do I need to get worried given it is almost aug 2023 here and this is a simple and straight forward application for grant that is taking too long at IRCC? I can see in the online tracker for one app that i got the AOR confirmation and application no that it is in progress since March 2023, is this normal?

My file is at the same office and it took 3 months after BG was complete for them to send me a test invite. Meanwhile a big percentage of January applicants all had their invite a week after BG clearance. Now who knows how long for my LPP to clear.

It looks like the Vancouver office is up and running after a long break.

I'm looking forward to the ceremony. Someone wrote, that they received a certificate of citizenship immediately along with a passport .. is it possible? As far as I know, we need a guarantor to apply for a passport.

Got my citizenship certificate in mail last Monday. It has been a journey of 5 years from PR application to citizenship grant. This forum made everything very straightforward and easy. Thanks to everyone and wish everyone the very best with their applications.

There is a pilot program happening and you don't need a guarantor for that. Looks like one of those case.
