My background verification is completed but didn't get any email communication from CIC. How will the test invite arrive? Is it via email or will be updated on the web? Also if it's from an email id, please let me know the sender id. Thanks!

You won't get email notification for BG complete. But yes, you would get an email for test invite.

I am an online applicant. I got AOR on 18th Feb and my BG check was completed on 24th Aug. I was hoping to get test invite shortly after that but its been more than 2 weeks. I see people getting test invite within a few days of BGC. Is there anything I should be concerned about or anything I can do here?

I have had ghost updates on 23rd and 25th, but nothing since then. All the items are "in progress" for me except test and oath which are "not started". So I'd say your case it even better than mine

Thanks. I got the ghost update on 23rd Aug and BGC on 24th Aug. IRCC has been very slow. Hope you get the update soon!

Hi All,

I did the citizenship test and it has been updated as completed on Jun 22, 2022. However, Language Skills, Physical Presence, and Prohibitions are still in progress. Is anybody in the same situation? Any idea how long it takes for the invitation to the ceremony?

I have one question, the processing time for citizenship was 12 months until the end of April , 2022, after that it had changed to 27 months. So, as most of us got our AOR in February or March, does this mean we follow the 12 months process time and the new process time apply only for the new applicants or the current one apply to us as well? I just don't get it ..
