Getting a little nervous, submitted my application December 2019 and it's still in process. I have to be in the UK by June 2nd to start my 5-year residency towards a settlement status =/. Do you definitely have to be in the country for the test? Has anyone tried using a VPN? (I'm gonna guess the government checks that though)

The condition is to take the test only when you are in Canada. Taking the test from another country through a VPN will jeopardize your application. I think you can leave Canada now, just that on the day of the test return and complete the formality.

AOR: March 2020
Test Invite: April 1st 2021
Test passed April 20th 2021
Location: Mississauga, ON

Waiting for my official results. Do you know what's the email address of Mississauga CPC?

Answering both questions, you will not receive any official results. The only way is to call to IRCC and find it out - an officer will be able to check your profile and confirm if the test is passed. People recommend to call a week after your "test window". I personally called today (23 days after the test or 5 days after the window closure) and got confirmed over the phone that test passed.
Since I'm processed by Scarborough office, considering the common practice, I expect an interview invitation soon.

Yes, me and my husband received invite 2 months apart

I think Kitchener office sending one or two invitations per month,
thats as per this forum,
Also, I think there are other people getting the test invite but we donot know about them , becouse they are not in this forum.
