Don't worry and over-think too much (although I did both when I didn't hear from CIC).
Last I talked to CIC agent, they told me that they have too many applications hence the delay. Hopefully you'll receive it soon.
that happens for many reasons. interviews, remedicals, doc requests, etc. are all things that delay apps. they also had a backlog from islamabad VO which im guessing is mostly gone by now. furthermore, not too long ago they would only start background checks after eligibility had passed, but they're now doing both in parallel to reduce processing time.
in the end, only god knows how long they'll take for us December applicants, but there's always a chance that we might be done sooner than we think.
Nice. I sent the medical with the APP. Just out of curosity, who asked for the medical? Mississauga or your visa office? and where did you have to send it?
Also when I dial it they say that check the number. I am actually calling from India. So can you please guide me. I have the facility of magic jack but I am not able to place a call
That's so great for you! Mine got sent to the Singapore VO about two weeks ago... The PR application side says IN Process but when i click on it i onlye have two lines.. the AOR and Medical received
Same you here, mine has been transfered to Singapore on Feb 19. The PR app. side says "in process" but inside just had 2 lines : App. received and Medical received.
I'm worry and have no idea about it. Someone has the same issue with us ?

Please use magic jack to call since it's an international (long distance) number for you since you're not in Canada. Maybe try 001 before dialing? I don't know how calls are placed from India.

I'm sure and there are a lot of people who had their SA received within few hours of receiving AOR yet it took 2+ weeks for me. Each application is different however, I'm praying that we all get lucky and have our apps approved sooner rather than later
