Maybe it depends person to person? All I know is, in the November thread, we're using the 'In Process' on eCAS to align with the 'eCAS in Process'(pink) on the spreadsheet. And either the AOR2 email, or the third line under PR as the AOR2 (purple).
Currently my eCAS shows two lines under PR:
1. App received in Nov.
2. Medical results have been received.
Once theres a third line saying we started working on your app thats essentially AOR2. Just like AOR1 meant CPC-M was now working on your app.
Either way, thats what November group is doing. December can decide for themselves.
Mine says they started processing my (applicant) application on Dec 16, 2015. I took that as my AOR2 , but figured they haven't done anything with my application yet. It doesn't show "medical results received" yet. I do know my application has been transferred to Ottawa as it stated that in my SA email dated Dec 10.

Well I only have two lines, but it does say that they started processing my permanent residence application. I am taking that as my AOR2. I was told that Ottawa doesn't usually send out AOR2.
I just wish I knew why it hasn't updated to "medical results received" yet. It's been almost 2 months now. I am trying not to worry.
Hello good day, im hoping im in the right topic to try to get some help.
My situation is that im currently in qatar, my partner is in canada. We are in the process of applying together as common law to become PRs in canada. Now she had declared me(partner in qatar)as her beneficiary and so did i as my beneficiary. Through life insurance. This took place when i went home yo the philippines(dec2014).
Now just this sept2015 i tried to apply for visa visit with the help of my cousin who is already a PR in canada. No where in my application was an option to declare her as my common law.
Unfortunately i was denied due to financial support and close family ties.
So my question is now we are to lodge our papers would the part of not declaring her in my try for visit visa affect our application?
Hope someone could shade some light on our situation..
Now I would take this as they haven't started processing your application yet. When was your SA letter dated?
To me I would say that you haven't received AOR2 yet. I am only going by the things that I have read on the forum. I am no expert, but it doesn't say they started processing yet. I am confused!! Lol
