date error in police certificate

Dear All,

Need some advice please. I submitted my CEC application (as a dependant few weeks ago) but with an error in date in police certificate (for a country I have lived for 11 months in Africa) - lived there from 2007 to 2008 but wrote 2008 to date.. (all dates are signed on my submitted passport though).

Now I have rectified the error and want to send the new police certificate to CIC. Please how do I go about submitting this new information.

Also, will the first submission have any impact?

Use the IRCC webform to submit the new document and the explanation.

Yes, it is better to submit this, than to have the application returned for having the incorrect dates on the PCC.
