Country or Territory where applying

9. COUNTRY OR TERRITORY APPLYING FROM=What does it means?
I m an Afghan Applicant applying for TRV and Study Permit however in my country the Canadian embassy does not issue visa, i either need to go to Pakistan or India, in order to apply for visa, so what to fill in this section my trip is not planned yet what date to give there ?

Embassies generally don't accept visa applications anywhere, you can apply online or you can send documents to VAC by courier, contact your nearest VAC to get their courier application process but it seems online would be much better for you if there is no VAC in Afghanistan.

I need to fill IMM1294 and IMM5257, what about field no 9 there (COUNTRY OR TERRITORY APPLYING same as current country or territory of resident) what to select there YES or NO, if No then i have to select country visa type(status) and dates (From-To), i dont know what date to give there will it work if i give future dates because i will be visiting VAC in that country in up coming days.
