On IMM 1294 E, there's a field that says "Country/Territory Where Applying" and I'd like some clarification on the meaning of this. Is it literally where I physically am right now, or the country in which I am a citizen?
I am starting my graduate studies in Canada in Fall and my wife is from Brazil. We're applying for a study permit and work permit at the same time and I've traveled to Brazil to help her sort out the documents she'll need to submit (I have all of the required documents and have brought them with me on my visit). It's only a month-long visit. Would I put "Brazil" in this section?
