Citizenship certificate not received

when I had my Oath May 6th, thought i would be a week or two to get it, so I booked passport appt, which was 8 weeks away.. the appt is tomorrow so I have to cancel it since i did not get the cert yet.. sad reality. Montreal suckass office, it's all your fault.

Hi Goldenita, did you find a way to check if you home address has been updated by IRCC?

I am online citizenship applicant same like you.. no access to ECAS... used webform, twice, to update my home address

So far I have not received any confirmation from IRCC about my address change.. I am waiting for oath at current stage..

I know there is a long way to go... getting worried that smart IRCC would send my citizenship cert to my old address...

I got a reply from the MP’s office just now. Same thing the agents are saying, Montreal office has been notified

same, they sent email to Montreal suckass office. i know this won't change anything though, they will take their time. nothing gonna get special attention.

I think 1 to 3 weeks. (1 week if the recognize they fucked up and process right after they received the form, ---3 weeks if they treat the email like any other, so two weeks to even get into it, and one week to mail the cert)

They again sent me the solemn declaration on top of the email they sent on Monday. I sent it signed as soon as I got the email on Monday. No idea what is going on

Yes they sent it again over the same email they sent on Monday, hope this doesn’t cause unnecessary delay again, so tired of this.

Any news? I called ircc and told me they received the form already but no notes if it has been shipped out.

Same, agent said it’s in queue to be sent out, no time frame

There are people who get certificates within a couple of days which means they have the capability to expedite if required. It’s been 2 plus months since oath they know they haven’t sent the certificate, they know it’s their fault, they still won’t expedite it and it sits in a queue to be sent!

You’re right. I know it hasn’t been shipped! Nothing was mailed after oath!! It could have been in the system but NO notes about sending it. So not sent. It’s so exhausting .

I called today agent said it was posted yesterday by regular mail. Fingers and toes crossed at this point!
