Citizenship application in August 2017

Hello, new member here. Received an email yesterday, Oct. 31, inviting me for citizenship test (Edmonton Office) for Nov. 22. When checking on ecas though, there is no update. I'm wondering .. Should I be receiving a mail notice as well? or email is the only correspondence I need?

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 21, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on September 18, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on September 26, 2017.

It typically takes 24 hours for ECAS to update after the various emails go out. It should show up tomorrow. Congratulations!

ECAS updated on 31 October, for me to attend citizenship test on December 21, 2017.

I have holidays booked for the overseas in the first week of January 2017 for 3 weeks. I am wondering if all the journey of maple leaf pp can be complete by then.
Journey of uncertainty ! Any comments lol!

The chances are really slim to complete the entire process by Jan.
I have similar situation. I have booked a European vacation in May 2018 in anticipation of getting my Canadian citizenship.
If I don't get the citizenship by March 2018 or so, I have to apply for visa which is a pain. :-(

Hi Everyone
I have submitted my application as Urgent processing on Aug 1st, it was received on Aug 8th, and I received a my test letter on Aug 24. I did my citizenship test on Sep 27. I've been told that they will put my application in urgent processing for the ceremony as well. But it's been over a month that I wrote my citizenship test and have not hear back for the ceremony. Should I expect ant status update in my application status online or I should wait for the letter? Does anyone has any idea?

I received nothing as well; however, I was checking ecas now I saw there is correspondence sent to me on Nov 01 but still doesn’t know what. Let’s wait and see.
