Finally, I got my AOR today. It took me exactly 2 months since I applied. I thought that my application is going to be returned, not knowing why it took them so much time... so, now waiting for update in status of the application. Hopefully our processing time won't be delayed too much due to introduction of C-6 last Wednesday. Good luck to everyone!

If they called you then there must be something very important regarding your application. If I were you I'd keep trying to get hold of them although I know that it is a real nightmare. You might need to try a hundred times before you get hold of an agent, but it is still your best option. Good luck!

Finally I caught up the representative of IRCC yesterday after 45 minutes of holding ,and she did check in detail and confirmed me there were no calls made to you from our side. It looks pretty much okay on your file. She just advised me to wait n see and you will get the further instruction from us whenever it dues.

We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on September 28, 2017.
so this was my current timeline ,, so since 09/28/2017 no moves ,, is this normal ??
and is there someone else in the same boat ,, my office is Montreal

This is more than normal and it is the case of most of the people here. In addition, now with the c-6 bill coming in place we cannot expect things moving faster but actually the opposite unfortunately!

still look at ur time line ,, u went directly from AOR to IP in 5 days ,, and the files now going first in first served ,, since they just uploading them to the system and that it ???
