Dear saedmahraan,
The current average of clearing backlog (pre February 208) applications is about 75000-80000 applications/year. But this average will indeed increase in near future just because of smaller inventory of post june 26, 2010 PR applications.
The current total until March 2011 of pre February 2008 backlog applications awaiting decisions may fall between 300,000 to 325,000 applications.
I hope this informations is of assistance to you.

Dear nectar,
I want to leave the UAE to South africa. Work and live there! What should I do? Do I have to inform the CHC London about this move? I will keep my resident visa in the UAE?
My brother has got a company in Cape Town. I want to work there and at the same time to bring some goods to the UAE! What should I do?
Could you please help me!

Dear Nectar,
I would like to ask you another question!
First of all, I would like to throw some light on my case status. I am a June 2007 applicant and waiting for a medical test! In Aug 2009 I submitted my docs, but I didnt submit my PCC from Libya where I lived for a time of period( For some nationalities who used to live in libya if they decied to leave libya or to travel out they cant get a visa for a second time.It means you have to stay inside for ever or leave it for ever that was the rule ,because of this I couldnt get it easily). Then, I got a letter from the embassy of Libya here in the UAE which was written inside that I asked for PCC from libya since 2009 and didnt get it since 2010. I asked my VO to waive this PCC request but he refused. After one year, In Aug2010, a friend of mine who is living there helped me to get it. Directly in Sep 2010 I sent the PCC. After that, I got an update for additional docs which I sent in Oct. I sent an email in Nov,then I was under B/s checks.
My question is:
Now, there is a revolution in Libya since Feb 2011. Would this cause a delay in my application process? If my B/S checks were completed, when can I expect my MR?? If it were not completed?? What would be happened?? Do my B/S checks affect with what happened in Libya?Or not?
In advance, thanks Nectar for your help.
regards
