So you are saying if your mailing address disappears from ECAS it means CHC London are almost ready to begin processing your application?

Wayne.

Dear cappuccino,

Active processing of FSW application at CHC London may take about 6-8 months so, you can think that your application may be finalised during 4th quarter of 2011.

[Dear coolangy,

There will be a concurrent processing of Islamabad applications at CHC London but a delay may occur in processing of Islamabad applications due to late security clearance responses from Pakistani authorities.

I hope Honourable CIC Minister Jason Kenny had discussed this issue last week in a meeting with Honourable Interior Minister of Pakistan Abdul Rehman Malik.

You can expect 18-24 months processing time for Islamabad applications at CHC London.

Thanks Nectar for the info!

I'm already in the 18 month of my processing and haven't received medical yet. Do u think I can get my visa in the coming 4-5 months?

Thanks again for your quick reply!

You can expect to proceed to the next stage of application in near future.

Dear qasim786,

Every update instruction may lead to 3-5 months delay in processing. You can calculate your processing time now isn't?

Based on what information though? Active processing of post-June-26 applications are surely faster because there is no eligibility review or 67-point-calculation to be done? Or is that already taken into consideration with the 6-8 month estimate?

Thanks,
Wayne.

Necter what about 2010 applicants . Not a single 2010 CHC London applicant got Medical request till today, many have passed 12 months but still no news from CHC london.

Next 4 months are important or not for 2010 applicants.

Dear k_s

As per my knowledge and information CHC London has a motive to rolling out GCMS by April 2011.

CHC London is busy in transferring the data from CAIPS to GCMS and some portion of data needs 3-5 days for foss verification and loading up again that's why sometimes applicant's mailing address and processing areas disappear temporarily.

If you are in this phase it means your application is near for active processing at CHC London.

Do you work at CHC London or know someone who works there? If not can you please let us know how you know so much about their working practices?

I ask only because obviously we want to have some confidence that the information you are giving us is accurate, so please let us know your source!

Thanks.
Wayne.

I think he has go for the day. May be due to excessive questions. But his source seems quite authentic.

Well look if he's going to post such bold statements with apparent inside knowledge, he kinda needs to let us know where his source information is coming from.

Otherwise, with respect, I personally don't have much confidence that the information is accurate.

Yes EEmmoo1,
I second, if you look at those who are having their visas, ppr and medicals, please check their time lines carefully. They are those who applied from 2008 and 2009. So lets all watch at those having all these request. I am 2009 and my BF'D was 22.1.2011 so all things being equal i might finish at the end of this year.

I think he might be right.

Cheers.

Dear all,

I hope all of you are doing very well.

I always wish to disseminate good information to ease you guys.

Currently fast track FSW post February 2008 applications are on the highest priority at CHC London but from April 2011 London based SAP FSW applications submitted until August 2007 will also go along and will be finalsed in 47-48 months at CHC London. The processing time at CHC London for SAP FSW applications will be 47 months approximately by July 2011.

By October 2011, CHC London will clear its SAP FSW inventory of applications submitted until October 2007.

The SAP FSW applications who haven't got supporting documents update instructions (October 2007 to February 2008) are still on hold until further instructions given by the Canadian Parliament. Canadian Parliament may instruct CIC any time after passing the bill of proposed amendments in the selection criteria of FSW category.

The straight forward SAP Ottawa Processing Unit applications will have to meet the lowest 42 months FSW processing times.

CHC London FSW post June 26, 2010 applications will be processed on the highest priority from October 2011 onwards.

I hope this information is of assistance to you.

Thank you for the info, Nectar. I am assuming that the information you have disseminated here is correct. Assuming that it is wholly or even partially correct information, That red underlined bit is all I personally need to know, so that I can re-plan for the future.
If only they could inform us that the timeline will increase significantly than earlier anticipated and calculated, I could withdraw my application and maybe(consequently) give someone else the chance. Would you know why they do not reply to emails if questioned about it and about getting a refund?

Dear Nectar,
I am an Aug 2007 applicant. Last week I sent a query to London VO and received the following response:

Please be advised that medical instructions will be sent in the next few weeks. We hope this information is of assistance to you.

Please can you explain this and does this mean that background checks are completed.
Thank you for you help.
