Thank you all for your well wishes. Wes, the immigration officer said that she would've kept my passport if my medical had not expired. The reason she returned my passport was that I could get my medical done and then send it right after that for Visa endorsement.

I personally believe that people who have interviews get a bit nervous and therefore forget to ask relevant questions. Interviews work both ways in that both the individuals can ask questions that they think are relevant to the case. Well that's what I did and ended up getting my Remedical right there and then instead of waiting for them to send it in mail. It's better to clarify things I believe. So here I am, with my remed (actual letter and form) and PPR (verbal but confirmed by the immigration officer) without the hassle of waiting for it to arrive in mail.

By the way many congratulations to those who received PPRs and their passports back with Visas stamped.

Nice.. you aced the interview.. InshAllah you will get your PPR soon after your Re-med is done :)

yes Guys I just Voluntarily send my Passport ........

Copy Today :P

Only send your passport if your medical is still valid. Don't be misguided and before you take any such step please confirm with the immigration authorities. The immigration officer who took my interview "specifically" told me to voluntarily send in my passport without having to wait for confirmation letter from CHC. So when I do send them my passport I am going to attach a covering letter mentioning the circumstances that allowed for voluntarily submission.

Who is this damn RAT who keeps giving me Minus Ratings .............. at least send me a PM so I know how I pissed off chicken like you ........... lol ............. I am just impressed by the consistency of this individual as I dont even visit the site much anymore ............. anyways ........ I tried to catch up and this forum is on its emotional roller coaster and even a cool dude like Wes is anguished ........... now I am scared to post anything here ........ :)

Even I have a rating of -6, I don't think I was ever rude with anyone on here but if it makes the other person happy then keep on doing it .. your happiness is more important to me than my rating :)
