We got the Passport back on 30th May. Its been a long process, He applied in 2009, so almost 3.5 years. His wife has been staying with him so time did not matter much.

My Question to who ever got PPR when you filled out PPR do we have to fill out spouse info in it too because its asking for spouse as well or should we just put only applicant info?
If we have a lawyer as a representative, then will CHC Islamabad be sending documents like remedical and ppr to my husband in Pakistan or will those requests be sent to my lawyer here instead? JazakAllah Kharin!

If you both filed I would say yes, but if one just sponsored there is no need but you could call the Call Centre in Canada and they will give you this info. But you must be living in Canada in order to do this as one must be a Canadian Citizen to be able to call the call centre. wow, first they gave u 3 interviews, and its been long time since remed, now they lost ur file, i think ur allowed to press charges and take it to court...
many people have done so, and Im sure u will win and have ur husband come to u soon.
CHC is confusing some files they love and some files they play around with.

Minimum time to get the passport back is around a week to ten days but maximum time I read on the forum for someone was 9 months which is totally brutal but still acceptable to the applicant without any protest. There is nothing much we can do about that because chc has the absolute power.

Its been 29 months now of ma husbands case n 1 1/2 months since they asked for his pp..
