There are some members their case was done in 16 or 17 months. Are the counting the time that they filled the application or when it got transferred to ISB. Please let me know.

Hey Guys,

My Canadian address has been updated as home address on E-cas after 2 weeks of passport submission in CHC islamabad. Also mailing address is still Pakistani address as they'll be sending the passport to this address.

What does this indicate? When will i get my passport back? I urgently need the passport back as I need to go to Bahrain where I am currently living in and applied through pakistan. Also my bahrian resident visa is expiring soon so I need to enter bahrain. How should I contact CHC islamabad for this urgent request? Should I call them? What is the best and efficient way?

Its almost 17 days now and still waiting for the passport to be returned by CHC islamabad.


Need urgent guidance here.

What do you mean by home address and mailing address?
As far as I know there's only one address when I check my ecas through my husband's UCI
and his address hasn't updated yet.. I assume you will get pp back in a couple day IA.

Yes In Sha Allah this what will happen if the security check is done they will request his PP. I thank Allah for getting you this far In Sha Allah. Allis done except security check and then I hope they request PP In Sha Allah

but he already submitted his pp he got ppr on February 2013.. My questions is if he will get his pp back issued with CANADIAN visa since his ecase updated two days ago as "medical results received" He got PPR and REMEDICAL together.

M updating late from my side ...been busy ..hubby pakistan aai hue they LOL
i had my interview in mid feb ... visa officer were very rude n strict he asked me very stupied questions and in the end he said .. M not satisfied with ur relationship .. sounds very fisy YES thats true ... i was very disappointed n expecting refusal
but Alhamdilillah Allah listened to me .. and i got my remedical last week after one and half month of interview .. after a painful wait M soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Happyyyyyy ;D
hubby wapis chely gai hn ... n i want to join him very soon getting crazy ;D

its not really an average, but here is more how it works in simple terms,

you have 10 applicants, and they finish their case processign as follows,

APP01 = 8 months
--------------------------10% of cases completed-------------------
APP02 = 15 months
APP03 = 16 months
APP04 = 16 months
APP05 = 17 months
--------------------------50% of cases completed-------------------
APP06 = 20 months
APP07 = 25 months
APP08 = 28 months
--------------------------80% of cases completed-------------------
APP09 = 30 months
APP10 = 38 months

so if you look at the processing times, then 10% (1 on 10) finished in 8 months, 50% finished in 17 months (5 applications done out of 10) and 80% done in 28 months (8 out of 10). There will always be cases that are more complicated thus the last applicant, so that is why the case processing time is not listed in 100% of applicants, but 80% (which someone has considered to be the appropriate reporting percentage).

I have an urgent question specially from my afghan brothers living in pakistan and already got their pp

I got my Afghan passport from Afghan consulate n peshawer and got Canadian Visa on it. i want to go from PIA islamabad. The problem is i don't have pakistani visa on my passport. Afghan consualte issued empty passport to me. so can i go from Islamabad airport without having pakistani visa or there is any other way to do? plz kindly let me know who knows better...thanks

Atif you will be needing Pakistan Visa in order to exit from Islamabad Airport, the only sound suggestion is to get Exit permit from Interior Ministry located in Islamabad I am not sure if they are still giving you exit permit or not, when I used to live there it was possible to get exit permit, else you can come to Kabul and take your flight from here, good luck bro

What is the process of buying a ticket from Lahore. When to buy ticket/reserve ticket.

My wife has submitted her pp to CHC 3 weeks ago and I am wondering if I reserve her ticket now. If any one has some knowledge about ticket purchase please let me.
