Sadly, the intake for this year is complete. The classes commence in September...If you are really serious, then you might want to try next year. But you never know, you might just get your PR visa before that!
No no, Im talking about Sept 2012 bhayee...not next month

Im obviously not getting anything in like 2 weeks lol

Yes same here, because if i apply as an international student its more than double:s My husband said the same thing, but since we're so unsure of when I'll be getting there (definitely before next sept inshAllah!!) so he said that I should find out more about the application process etc- I've sent emails to the university but they never really respond to queries unless you've applied already:s
Your application will be a bit difficult as you are not really applying as an international student yet you are not a PR holder..(and it is subject to CIC’s approval).. I would advise you to come here first and then apply…not only it will make it easier for them to process your application but it will also make it easeir for you to undrerstand if there are any exemptions or any credits that you would have to upgrade etc You will also qualify for grants, loan and bursaries as a PR holder..just a suggestion

O and by the way, even if you are accepted (admissions will open in Late Jan -feb 2012), for Ryerson I know that you have to pay $ 1000 upfront (like june-ishh) to reserve your spot...so too much ifs buts musts and then payment involved...so its better to come here and then apply once you are sure about your dates and times

Hey, you have given some really useful info. Thanks!

But I have heard of people who applied and managed to get their student visas while their processing was on...of course some were denied too...but apparently, the two visa streams are different...
Maybe Im wrong...

Wow, interesting!! I pray that you are successful in your endeavours.

Both the subjects very interesting!
InshAllah I wish to do my Ph.D, if possible, in English Literature. I already have Masters in Literature from over here, along with an MBA, so Im hoping I will have enough credits to apply for Ph.D. If not, then I would want to do a masters in Lit

No problem...yaar student visa = international student...and the tuition fee diff is crazyyy...if a local is paying $ 5000 per semester, you will be paying between $ 8000 - $ 9000 (figures are just rough) or even more in some cases with no approval for loans until you become a PR holder... so upto you...if money is not a problem then sure but a smart way will be to wait..since you are coming here as a PR eventually anyways so why go thru student visa problems and higher costs...but it's your own choice..
and yes you are right...student visa is different than spouse visa...and spouse visa has much more advantages over student visa...

True true....wah, immigration ne aapko bohot smart bana dia hai

Ya aap pehle se smart theen?
Yaar no point spending so much, and they might just refuse the student visa anyway..so its better to be patient, thats what I've learnt as far as CIC is concerned!
Im from India
