To whom it may concern:
The intent of this letter is to confirm in writing the full-time permanent employment of M with XC from June 1, 2020 until the present. M had taken a leave of absence from October 9, 2020 to November 25, 2020 and December 22, 2020 to January 2, 2021 due to health reasons.
M accrues vacation at 4% up to 10 days annually. He also receives full company benefits including life insurance, health and dental insurance, short and long term disability and has access to participate in our RRSP contribution program.
From June 1, 2020 to March 20, 2021, he held the position of Technical Support Specialist – (Noc Code – 2282) within Customer Care team in Cornwall, Ontario. He earned an hourly salary of $X(paid on the 15th and last day of each month) and was scheduled for 40 hours per week.
As of March 22, 2021 until present, M holds the position of Technical Support Specialist - Overnights (NOC code – 2282) within our Customer Care team in Cornwall, Ontario. He earns an hourly salary of $Y (paid on the 15th and last day of each month) and is scheduled for 40 hours per week.
The following are his duties and responsibilities for both positions:
Providing technical support to customers with concerns related to internet/network connectivity, email, router, home phone and internet security
Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to help customers reach resolution.
Train end users in response to identified difficulties that they are having.
Collect, organize and maintain a Problems and Solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
Liaise with internal departments to investigate and escalate technical issues as appropriate, including Channel Support and Network Operations
Maintain extensive knowledge of Xplornet products and staying current on relative technology advancements
