Thanks for this! I was able to check mine and everything is done except for Eligibility (AOR Nov 16). It says "We’re making sure that you meet the requirements to be eligible for the spouse, partner or child class." But I'm a single applicant. Or is that a generic message?

Hopefully I get the portal email this week!

My Application was under CEC

AOR: 28th Nov 2022.
Background check started on: 29th Dec 2022.
Had submitted old medical and Biometric which were within the range as required by IRCC.
Medical Request: 05th Oct 2023
Medical Submitted: 12th Oct 2023
Medical Completed: 19th Oct 2023
Additional Doc Request: 05th Dec 2023. ----- The doc were the standard forms which we use to submit on PR application.
Background Check Completed: 23rd Jan 2024 ----- Started seeing COPR number in tracker. As I was out of country didn't receive portal email.
Followup web form: 14th March 2024
Portal 1: 25th March 2024
Portal 2: 24th April 2024
Responded : 27th April 2024
ECOPR: 02nd May 2024

It almost took 1 year 25 days to complete my Background check. I felt like they had lost details on file while they changed their system around the time I got my AOR and hence they requested all documents again and in couple of months finalized the application.

Wow, crazy that it’s taking so long! From the specifically CEC cases I found on this Express Entry tracker, most seem to finish up in under 6 months, even sooner recently: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/cec-express-entry-tracker

Definitely makes sense to at least do a demand letter if you’ve been waiting for too long!
