Hi guys, I received a re-medical request from IRCC on the 21st, and I completed my exam the next day. My new medicals have not yet been updated on the tracker. Although, I'm curious..... is this a good sign, and could mean I'm close to getting an approval soon?

It seems that re-medical is a good sign and the last step before they approve your application.

Also I must say, by the time of receiving Portal Email #1, there was no update on neither the application tracker nor on the IRCC account. Both of them say, that the application is still in progress.

They will both be updated once you get your eCOPR

I did remedical on 13th April and it got updated on April 23rd both in tracker and GC key.

Nothing as of now. Just shows remedical is completed. Called ircc yesterday and they informed everything is completed but application shows in progress status. They said I will get the approval email soon but there is no timeline. The ircc rep also mentioned they take 5 months for cec approval and since my application is already more than 5 months there is a possibility for things to happen sooner. Just fingers crossed

AOR -Nov 28 no update when i called earlier before apr 19 ircc agent told that criminality passed eligibility not started security not started on apr 19 tracker updated to background check in process i called ircc again on apr 23 still they say eligibility not started security not started have started to get frustated as there is nothing happening on my application

Did you order GCMS notes? If not, do it. You will find more details as why eligibility is not started.

Not sure about the reason. But yes, as per IRCC's new public policy, I submitted my old medicals which were taken in 2021 with my PR application
