I guess at this point they had to slow down the processing for someone otherwise they would exceed the targets, I just don't understand why make the people already inside Canada wait. Let's see how it goes.
Did your eligibility recently go in to processing as well?
Agree! Eligibility turned in progress as soon as my medicals got updated last Aug 17, 2023. I bet they only update once a month. I am monitoring people of about the same date as my AOR hoping to estimate my eCOPR. I've read others in APR 2023 AOR are still waiting for their updates as well. Theirs should have been processed first. That being said, it seems unpredictable, maybe a game of luck!
I spoke to the call agent and they told me it isn't. I am kinda worried why it's taking so long. There are applicants around my aor that have gotten thier pr already and my eligibility hasn't even started. I want to hope it's because of my background check for China as I heard it take longer to get criminality check from China.

Trust me, it's not "so long" - It's only 3.5 months. The other applicants just got lucky. My AOR was November 2022 and I only got approved late in May. I thought I was among the last ones to get approved but no, there were many November AOR after me having to wait. So no, don't compare yours to others because each one is different. While you wait, you can order the GCMS note, I wouldn't take the agent's confirmation too firmly as I called them twice and they never told me my application was under review required hahaha (but it was, the GCMS note told me that lol)
If you choose to trust them, that's okay too, but please be patient as 3.5 months is still very well within the processing time. My friend's AOR was March 29, everything got completed on tracker on May 20, and she has been waiting since then. That's what I call "too long".
My timeline so far:
AOR May 25th CEC-Inland
BIO/MED/UCI on GCKey August 14th
Tracker said Medical complete and Bio/Background in progress
August 16th(ish) GU Background from NA to We are processing..
September 7th GU my background went from we are processing your background check to 'your application is in progress. We will send you a message once we start your background check"
Today, sept 8: Tracker updated eligibility to 'in progress' from not started.
Anyone has any predictions/similair timelines?

I have two PR applications, non-EE and EE. I initially expected the EE would be approved first, but today, I received a portal email for the non-EE application.
If I submit my personal information through the portal, and they send me CoPR, what will happen to the EE application? can I delay submitting my info to the portal?
I'm truly happy can finally become a PR but if I can choose I would like to get it from the EE because it's not tied to a province.
Mine changed to the same a day before eligibility went into progress.
according to other posts this is the final stage of processing it will take some time here, but I hope you get it sooner. I am waiting for an update after 23rd AUG

So i hd a ghost update last thursday where BG changed to “we are processing your application. We will send you a message when we start your background check” and Friday my eligibility changed to “in progress”. And today another GU where my BG changed to: “we are processing your background check. We’ll let you know if we need any more information” so i hope my tracker has another update tomorrow. Good luck to you as well!
