it is a date set by their internal system so that possibly your file is "looked up" on this date.
some agents tell you the date. others don't.

not all files have the due date.. but you can try calling and ask them. also ask them if they can send an email to the processing officer for update.. ask for the rest of the update on your file

So, today was my BFD.. No update AT ALL. Called my MP and she said she'll follow up and we should touch base on Monday about it.... if this is the way IRCC commits to their own internal timelines.. what can we expect from the external ones then? ugh.

ip2 is when your background check is under process

OFF the topic, somebody got their PPR after 445 days . I don't know I should feel happy or sad

I have no idea what is taking them so long. Still stuck on eligibility check.

Worst thing is that no employer wants to hire me now that I dont have a PR and my work permit expires in Aug. I do explain to them that I can extend my work permit but they are afraid I might leave after August if the PR is not granted. I wish there was a way to sue these assholes. They are literally playing with peoples lives here. All the publicity stunts around come to Canada and PR in 6 months crap. This has been the single most frustrating experience of my life. Its destroying my resume.

Another friend of mine applied from US and got his PR in 4 months. Not even CEC. He is moving here with his family in May. Seems as though its easier to get PR from outside Canada than it is from within.

they have been so lazy in working on our files, there are so many cases. I wish and pray PPR comes soon for every1 of us.
even my eligibility is under review STILL and medicals are expired. no idea how they are working on the files. hang in there buddy. It will be all worth it once it comes

on a positive note, many people are getting re medicals request and ghost update. might turned out to be our lucky day too..

erm I hope not.. sadly it is up to CIC.. sometimes they extend it.. sometimes they ask for re medicals. it will be nightmare for me since I had to go to another city to get my medical done and the trip cost me around $1000.

for me, I have been spending money ever since, first time reject, second time apply, medicals, IELTS, BOWP.. sho..
I was thinking with that kind of money invested backhome, I could be a millionaire in no time LOL
