Hi All,

Just a quick question. How do you guys receive your PPR? Is it just an email? Does the message show up on your cic status page?
If it doesn't I guess one should be checking the spam folders as well.

As an update to my time line:

AOR - Feb 26th
Request for additional docs Schedule-A and Travel history - Mar 22nd,
Docs submitted - Mar 23rd.
Medical exam passed - Mar 24th
Background check processing started - Mar 24th
Background check is not applicable - Mar 28th

Good luck to everyone with the applications (myself included) =)

Usually, It's email to primary applicant but for my case I received in my spouse's email, so keep checking both email with junk, spam emails too.

Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes. Help
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. Help
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

The officer requested for additional documents, which I had submitted on monday, and then my BGC went to IP yesterday. My medicals are yet to be passed. I'm kind of worried, do you guys had the same status ?

Here is how to pay RPRF before CIC requests for it:

Below is the response that I got. I am mentioning the response below as it might be helpful for others who are in the same situation. [/size]

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please pay your Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) as soon as possible.

Please follow these steps to pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF):
1. Go to the website: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en
2. Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed.
3. Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”
4. You must pay this fee once for yourself as principal applicant.
5. You must also pay this fee for your accompanying spouse or common law partner.
6. Enter the number of fee payments in the box beside the fee of $490.
7. Click “Submit”
8. Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with a credit card.
9. Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format.
10. You must send the receipt to CPC-O. For fastest service, please attach it to an email and send it to the address CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca

One of two things could happen:

1. You get PPR after this OR
2. It will go to 'Not Applicable' then back to 'In Progress' as has been the case for most CEC Inland applicants.

How long this will take, I can't say for sure. If you're lucky enough, these updates could happen 2-3 weeks apart. Good luck

Thanks for the reply. Just got update today, my BOWP is approved. Guess now I can sit back and wait for the PPR. Good luck to everyone waiting on PPR

Congrats! When had you applied for the BOWP?

I have been in Canada for 3.5 years (16 months studying for a college diploma and about 2 years working). I didn't provide RCMP check. And I have only travels between my home country and Canada.

And I'm also surprised that it's so quick. I think there are some possible reasons:

1. I only left Canada for once since I enter Canada for the first time: a 4-day trip back to my home country;
2. After I graduated from a Canadian college, I found my current job very soon and that's my only full time job in Canada (have been working at this company for more than 2 years);
3. I prepared my application very carefully, tried my best to provide as much information as possible and make the supporting docs as organized as possible.
