My Thai wife has a son from a previous relationship (nearly 8 years old now), and will be bringing him along when she moves to Canada. We wish to arrange for myself and my wife to share guardianship & custody of the child.
The biological father is long out of the picture, having never given support and only meeting his son for the first time a few months ago. In Canada, the mother would have documents proving that she has sole custody of her son (which would make it much easier for me become his 2nd legal guardian). What equivalent Thai documents will we need?
