There are no life hacks. Pay for urgent processing for your passport application as indicated above and then it will be processed faster.

Hi any idea how is the urgent passport processing in person application as I need to travel in 2 weeks? I have a booking for flight ticket and valid reason.
If I receive certificate, and all the require documents, should I fill in the form online for 2 days for urgent processing?
please let me know procedure. Or anyone applied urgent passport before?

Yes, it is pretty straight forward . Fill the urgent request form , they will call you back in 2 business days or less

Posted mine 22 Feb, Canada post still haven't tracked it/
They posted it to me 5 March
Arrived today 10 March (citizenship certificate arrived today as well). 16 days including post is pretty swift.

1. I sent my passport application via Canada Post Express Delivery with a tracking option to Gatineau, PQ address. Canada Post tracking today shows 'Delivered' to Ottawa, ON! I wonder why? Should I inquire further from Canada Post?

2. Is it mandatory to send a return envelope with your application? I didn't do it.

Sent my passport application on 23rd February and delivered on 24th February.

Today , 12th March my bank transaction shows service Canada Halifax $160 . Is this for passport ?

1. This is normal. The mail room for Passport Canada is in Ottawa. Mine was delivered there too, and I got my passport fine.

2. you don’t have to send a return envelope. They will take care of returning your passport and certificate, which may come together, or separately.
