Last week I applied for my passport at 74 Victoria Street, the pickup date is 12/01. But the status changed today to "Passport has been printed". Can I pickup my passport today?

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I submitted my application yesterday in person in Cambridge, ON. Status shows:,

We have received your application and are now processing it

We called the hotline and said our passport is approved and will be pick up on dec 5. Its just that the tracker does not show record if the given name is not a single one.

Here is my passport timeline:

Location : 74 Victoria Street, Toronto

Application Type: Express (In Person)

Submitted Application: 24-Nov-2023

Scheduled Pickup Date: 01-Dec-2023

Status updated on 25-Nov-2023 to "We have received your application and processing it"

Status updated on 29-Nov-2023 to "Passport has been printed"

Passport pickup attempt 1 on 29-Nov-2023 but the officer told me that the Passport is not available yet.

Passport pickup attempt 2 on 30-Nov-2023 first the officer told me that the Passport is not available yet and she is going to check with Customer Support. After waiting for about 20 minutes a guy came from the backend with my passport and I finally received it.

For those who are curious about design - its a new design.

I hope my timeline helps someone. I do have a travel date in first week of December but the officer didn't bother to look the flight booking. I just mentioned my expected travel date in the passport application.

As per the trend, looks like 15 days is the standard time for most of the applications.

In person application on 17th Nov, regular. Passport printed and shipped status on 29th and received on 30th November
