Praise God! My ECAS got updated today. It says:

We sent you a notice on July 30, 2012 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on August 14, 2012 at 9:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

I wrote my test on May 1st, so summerson, check your ECAS right away. You wrote yours on May 2nd, right?

May batch, it's our turn now!

Yes this is the start of May batch, I wrote my test on May 11, hopefully will get something in a week or two.

dear Scarborough applicants,

today i checked my online status and I am happy to tell you that my oath ceremony is scheduled for August 2012.(Test was held on May 2012)

Total process time from receiving application till oath is 19 months (January 2011 to August 2012)

Check it again tomorrow. They normally update ECAS every Tuesday and we'll see it the following day. But with the long weekend, they might have done it today.

Congradulation sbg92 and pr2008 < thats great new. i wrote the test may 8 th nothing yet. just a quick question does the ecas got updated first or u guys recieved the letter and then the ecas got updated

Congrats PR2008! It has been an exciting wait for all of us... character-building as well.
One thing I learned out of this - the waiting adds value to things we hope for and consider important.
