My daughter sat her test on 26 February in Mississauga and received the letter for oath today, 15 March, to take oath on 28 March.

DaRulz I didn't realize you got RQ'd.
Great observation Mary Chad. i searched back the posts. RQ was a day after ours. It's very unrealistic to have a movement in the application after a week of receiving RQ.

Hey all,

Today I got my RQ and I have question regarding passports.

I currently have a Canadian Travel Document (which I got before applying for the citizenship) and my home country passport that I used to enter to Canada is being kept at Passport Canada. They told me "if you want to get it back you will have to send us the Travel Document".

So my question, do I have to only send a copy of my travel document and explain to them regarding my home country passport situation? Because it says on RQ form to submit all valid and expired passports!

I was at Glen Erin, Mississauga office today. Asked the officer about timeline and was told it is between 6-48 months. I will hope mine will get processed in 6 months lool

This is unbelievlable !!! Are you single applicant ? because only single appicants are getting citizenship this much fast.

hi i have applied for citizen ship and i took the taste than after that i am appeard in the front of judge but unfortunitley respect judge faild me he said i just answer 13 out of 20.than i applied again for citizenship taste and ihave received a aknowledgment letter.
than after one month i just my status on cic page in process now than again after one month status showing "DECSION MADE"
I AM wondering what will happen thay dont even show me taste date does any help me what is that meaning.
it showing A DECISON HAS BEEN TAKEN ON YOUR APPLIOCATION YOU SHOULD RECEIVE A LETTER WITHIN IN NEXT THREE MONTHS.SINCE LAST TWO WEEKs i am waiting my decsion letter.

You should contact call center, Agent might be able to give you more information on your file because i never saw a case where they made decision without test(except applicants 55+ or children)
what is your timeline?
