Good day, please enlighten me with my questions here. My daughter was born here in Canada and as of the moment she's in the Philippines. My partner and I are still both Filipino citizen and they're planning to stay there for 2 years. Does my daughter need to apply for Philippine passport? And what things we will need when my daughter will be travelling back here in Canada? And are they going to question my daughter’s status after 2 years of stay in the Philippines? When travelling back to Canada is there any Philippine immigration fees we need to pay for staying for 2 years? Thank you.
Your daughter is a Canadian citizen, so she should get a canadian passport before her plan to travel back to Canada. A Canadian can travel back to Canada any time. There is no question asked about why he/she stayed outside for any amount of time.
I am not familiar with immigration/visitor process to travel to Philippine. What is her status in Philippine?
You may get more information on travelling to and from Philippine on a different forum or add that to your title.
Are either of you or your partner Canada PR or citizen? Or you have TRV? Or do you plan to let the kid travel on his/her own?

Thank you for your helpful response, my daughter holds Canadian passport and my partner and I still a permanent resident here in Canada. As per the Philippine consulate here in Canada when I called, my daughter's status already considered dual citizen because we're still Filipino Citizen and they're planning to stay at least 2 years in the Philippines.
