Hi!
I am hoping someone could shed me some light and give me answers to my questions.
I am a filipino, married to a Canadian, however my husband was not born in Canada he was born in the US in 1976 , a few months after hew was born the family moved back to Canada and my husband was naturalized when he was 2 years old.
Now, we have a daughter who was born here in the Philippines , my question is, Can I apply for citizenship for her , is she eligible?
Thanks.

Were his parents already Canadian citizens when he was born?
If they were, then he is actually a citizen by descent, so your daughter would not be eligible for citizenship by descent because of the generational limit. What happened at age 2 may have been just him getting his birth registered during the delayed registration period.
Otherwise if he was naturalized with his parents at age 2, then yes, your daughter would be considered the first generation and eligible for citizenship by descent.
