My child is Canadian citizen ( no dual citizenship ) born with filipino mother. I'm planning to send him to Philippines for 2 years, i know in the immigration in the airport their giving a year of entry the time a Canadian citizen with a filipino parent enter the country. But my question is: is my son allowed to stay more than what the duration of time they stamp on the passport without any trouble or he will pay some kind of taxes? Is there any way that he can stay in the Philippines without exiting the country after a year?
