I got FP request from CIC and I done it on 13-Feb-2018 and the RCMP has sent the result to CIC (Vancouver) 14-Feb-2018. I was trying to call CIC 1-888-242-2100 since last week to confirm whether they have received my FP but my call is getting disconnected due to high call volume. I have no idea what should I do now. They have sent the letter for FP request on 07-Feb-2018 and they mentioned FP must have done within 30 days. So slightly worried.

- Keep trying to get through.
- Submit query through the web form. Note a response will take 6-8 weeks.
- Don't worry about it and wait for a test invite.
If they don't receive it, they will likely (eventually) send you a letter to tell you this. Good luck.

Same thing here, called them last week. But they said they have not received them yet. So it seems like no one is working to enter FP results into system at the moment. If they are not in the system, call centre can’t see it, but that doesn’t mean they have lost it. They might be sitting there somewhere..

No. You can if you want to, but you do not have to.
Make sure you keep your receipt from the RCMP, so you have that in case the fingerprint was lost in transit (so you can show you responded in a timely manner).

I lost my receipt. But I have an Email from RCMP (I provided them my name and Date of Birth and they were able to find my details) that they have send my FP result to CIC (Vancouver). Is that okay or am I in trouble?

That's just fine -- the likelihood of needing any type of confirmation (the receipt or the email) is vanishingly small. You've got that, so there's nothing to worry about.

Finally was able to talk with CIC. They said they have received my FP result and everything is good. My Application is in queue for the Citizenship Test. Big relief.
My fingerprint results were received by IRCC Scarborough Office on 29 March 2018 and all the background checks (including police and security clearance) were completed on 12 April 2018. I was wondering how long does it take to get the citizenship test invite after the file has been updated with FP results. I would appreciate your thoughts and/or experiences.
