Or did you keep WP with you and just send the passport ?

hi guys,
great to see ppl getting ppr very fast than not. congratulations to all who got and good luck to rest who are still waiting to hear something +ve from Seattle consulate. I am most likely visiting Toronto in october for the landing purposes, can somebody tell me what are the vacation related options do I have near Toronto. I will be visiting for 7-10 days and I am confused whether to opt for some tours and travel package or just roam there by ourselves. would somebody tell me on the basis of your past experiences. I'd be very thankful if I get to know of other ppl's experiences.

Once they ask to submit the passport how long many days they give us to submitted the passport?I did medical 3 month ago.My passport is going to expire on april.Soon any time they are going to ask me for pp requst.If i renew my passport now,it takes 2-3 month to get one.On that time if they ask for passport request, do they hold if i told them i have given my passport to renew.

Must send passport within 90 days after PPR. But if your passport is valid not more than 6 months, they will not issue the Visa for you.

They updated my address on ECAS on Tuesday. Since then...nothing.

They updated that a couple of weeks ago on mine too, but this is what it said in my first email from Seattle.

In the event of a change in your address, marital status or family composition, you must inform the office noted above. Do not use the CIC e-Cas on-line change of address system. Your new address will not be downloaded to your file in Seattle.

The last time I just emailed them directly to update my address - they updated but I have changed address since and have emailed them twice and have heard nothing back...

I thought Thursday was the lucky day, but no good news today

I updated the address in the Schedule A and in the Additional Family Form (these I was asked to send along with the updated FBI, bank statement, photos and the medical exam). I assumed they had the file on their hands when they updated the address on ECAS. Who knows how long it is going to take till they will send the email...
