You can apply PR card and come back, You have to give your friend or relatives address in Canada for PR card and they can mail it to you.

Let me know if you know any other process for visa appointment?

Got our passport back on Dec 5. Landed on Dec. 8. So happy ;D

Here is my timeline.

1. Transferred from Buffalo to Seattle in Nov 2011.
2. Medicals January 2012.
3. Got Married - Feb 2012.
4. Added Wife - May 2012.
5. Wife's medical - October 2012.
6. PPR - 14 November 2012
7. Visa Issued for Both of us - 29 November 2012.
8. Landing appointment at Canada Place Edmonton - December 18th, 2012

How goes the PR card wait now? I got mine back around mid November i guess it was. We were waiting waiting waiting for my bfs to arrive then finally we got a letter saying his photos were unacceptable and needed to be re-taken and resent. Always something isn't it
