Congrats to all who got PPR, I did my medicals on april 2nd and were received by ottawa on 7th april. Requested docs were received on 10th of april at seattle...i dont know when i will get my PPR, hopefully very soon...waiting waiting...

I ran out of patience and 3 weeks ago asked the MP for my city to follow up with the Seattle VO. The MP sent them an email about 2 weeks ago and even she hasn't got any reply yet. This is getting really frustrating for me.
I sent an email last Monday to Seattle VO inquiring about the status of my application. No response. I don't think this is very professional. I understand that is annoying to send inquires every day but once every 3-4 months they should be able to give you an update of our files. They don't respond to emails,the ECAS is not updated, etc. :'(
I am not a new member but did not post anything since late 2010. Now, I have joined this forum again. We all have been desperately waiting for our PPR after having done with Medicals. For me, it's close to 3 months after medicals. I am also hoping the same way you do for getting the PPR request. I am sure we will be hearing about passports requests very soon as seattle atleast takes 2-5 months for the request. Reading you all in this forum, it tells me that we all are close to our targets and I'm sure August would certainly be a fast month as far as requests are concered. Kindly find below my timelines.
Initially Applied to NS: March 2009
Documents asked: May 2009
1st medicals done: November 2010
PPR requested: May 2011 (but in December 2010, got married, informed Seattle about it)
Wife's document sent: July 2011
Medicals requested for both (mine expired): December 2011
Medical furtherance asked for my wife: February 2012
Medicals sent and reached Canada: April 24, 2012
NOW AWAITING FOR PPR.......

My ecas hasn't been updated with MR or PPR either so ecas definitely isn't that accurate or up to date.
Any news from anyone today? It's a week since eco and I got our PPR. I was hoping Thursdays were a lucky day for PPR letters. Fingers crossed for you all
My passports arrived in Seattle on Tuesday. I hope they make it back safely in the next month or so.
If i recall correctly i think flipn0ob was the last to talk about passport returns. Think it took 6 weeks (arr May 23, stamped June 21 and rec'd back july 4th).
Omooba, i think my letter said they would return passport within 4 weeks of them receiving it. Whether that means they will send it for mailing within 4 weeks or you will have it in your hand are 2 different things. I'm sure the regular mail part will mean a 1 to 2 week delivery for me. Please keep us informed so we can get some idea of what to expect too Thanks.
I was looking on the topic of the files processed at Los Angeles and the people who did their medicals in June have already received the PR???!!!!??? And here the people are still waiting with the medicals done since February. What is happening? Like it wouldn't be the same country.......
