Loveson, the stat holiday couldn't have come at a worse time for your passport delivery. I sent mine on a Friday and it got there on a Tuesday so hopefully yours arrives tomorrow
Well my ecas finally says Decision Made as of today so hoepfully i will soon have my passport in hand and we can leave and then come back and land.

I'm in Whistler so just up the road a bit Not 100% sure yet but i think we will go on a little vacation to US/Mexico then land when we fly back in. I did consider doing landing at Vancouver office but it all depends on how long it would take as i've heard a month or so (my visa is fine until Nov but my bf is on a tourist visa). We don't have a car and I was just worried if i did the bus to Seattle then they may not wait for us and we get stuck at the border til the next bus etc. Plus I could do with a vacation

No sorry I mean my current work visa expires in Nov. I think my PR visa is valid until April or May 2013. My PPR email had 2 different dates so I'm not entirely sure haha. Good old copy & paste by VO

I just got my passport back from Seattle. The whole process took only 25 days given that I am in Canada and they sent it by standard post.

Yahoo, congrats Eco. We got our PPR the same day i think. Did you mail your passport on 13th? I sent mine 13th, arrived 17th. My ecas says DM as of y'day so hopefully i get my passport back this week or early next Where in Canada are you? Do you get a letter re landing etc?

Mine sent on 02Aug , arrived 07AUG, and I sent an email to inform them my wife's pregnant, so I think my case would be some delay. : (

Thanks Wendy, I sent it on 12th and it reached there on 16th, I guess. I am in Alberta.
I got a letter explaining what to do and the Confirmation of Permanent Residence. I am sure you will get yours soon.

Thanks loveson, 25 days is from the day I sent them to the day I received the passport. Yours is gonna take a bit longer, I guess, since you will have an angel soon. So I hope you will get your passports back by mid september, most.
