Thanks for your wishes. One more question for you, brother 365. Have you noticed any change in ECAS(online-check application status) before your file is processing? I mean whether your address in ECAS disappeared or you cannot log in the ECAS system.
In the forum, i find some people will have these phenomenon when their cases start to be processed. Thanks.
hi raintjw,
I received an email from Detriot on 5/11/2012, said "Your file is in queue for review by an officer. You should receive correspondence from this office within the next 8-10 weeks."
I checked ECAS everyday. There is no "cannot log" or "address disappeared". My ECAS changed to IP on 6/14/2012.
Detail:
We received your application for permanent residence on December 14, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 4, 2011 to ADDRESS. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on June 12, 2012.
OUr timelines are quite close... so I am expecting to hear something from DTW

Any updates Vishal, I have the same timeline as you.
I did send an email to detroit office asking for any updates and got this reply from them.
"Your application is ready for finalization. Instructions will be sent to you by email within the next few weeks."
Any guess guys what does this mean!
Most people get passport request in about 1 month after medicals, but for me it has been a while now.

My case got transferred to Detroit office. Please explain me what does that mean. Also, I see some people commenting about FBI report. In 2010 I submitted my file along with FBI finger print report. Is there any other FBI report that I need to prepare for?
Ecas status:
Your application and supporting documents were received by the Detroit office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the Detroit office on January 19, 2012. The Detroit office may contact you.

It seems to be slow recently. I applied for my study permit 35 days ago and i have received it yet, which exceed the normal processing time shown on CIC.

My 'IP' is 10 days later than yours. I will report my progress after 10 days to see whether i will receive the MR.
Good luck for your trip. I got some trouble and got into a collision. I am afraid i would take 100% responsibity for that and i will deal with the insurance stuuf next week.
Hope the coming of MR can make up of my loss of money, which make me feel not too bad.
See u guys in 10 days.

Dear all,
I received email from Detriot:"Correspondence and medical forms and instructions are in queue for printing and mailing."
But I will go to Florida next week for about 15days. So I decide to do medical exam in advance in 7/16...Please give me a belssing...
I did my medical exam on May 26 but the Ecase still does not show "Medical received". Is this normal? how long should it take for the "Medical received" to appear under the Ecase?
