It means that they have determined that your file is eligible for processing (you earned 67 points min, of course). This also means they will go ahead with further processing of your file (i.e., check criminal records, employment, medical etc.). You can expect further communication soon.

I do not have any personal experience as my file hasn't reached that stage yet, but from what I read in this forum, it shouldn't be too long (although it also depends on the VO). Your next stage could be the employment verification calls/medical request from the VO, etc. Good luck!

The points are awarded based on assessment of papers submitted; but they also verify (if they want) if the papers submitted were authentic or fake. Hence, the second round of verification.

Hello friends,
I am new to the forum, was looking for the answer if people are receiving medical requests who have received AOR from buffalo in Nov-Dec 2010. Its been a year waiting after AOR and 22 Months since filling in CIO Nova Scotia. Have people received the medical requests in recent pasts ? I believe that, for some time processing have been very slow.
1) 23 Jan 2010: Initial application sent to CIO
2) 18 Mar 2010: March 2010 - CIO AOR
3) 25 Mar 2010: Application transferred to the Buffalo
3) 06 Jul 2010: Full docs recd at Buffalo
4) 16 Nov 2010: Buffalo AOR
5) 30 Jun 2011: In Process
6) 03 Nov 2011: File transferred to NY
We are in the same boat. I submitted mine to Nova Scotia in January 21, 2010...file got transferred to New York office in October 26, 2011. You can see my timeline under my name.
Don't worry seems like the VOs are working harder now to clear the backlog so just hang in there, there are actually a lot of people in this forum still waiting for MR and PR like me and you
Good luck to all of us!
