Buffalo - 2nd AOR between 15th April to 15th May

Its reallllllllllllyyyyyyyy frustrating.

I have submitted my full documents on april 1st 2010

Got my 2nd AOR on May 5th 2010.

But after that there is no change in my status.

It is more than 7 months and still says same "Received by Visa Office".

Any updates from you guys..

Try to Relax, for us it took 3 month after medicals were received by Ottawa. I know how it feels to be waiting but you should get it soon. My consultant said that between 8 - 12 weeks is still normal for them, I know that for us is like waiting under the water alone. I hope you will get it soon and the wait will be over for you. I know the feeling. I have to stop checking my email every 20 minutes.

According to Trackitt timelines in 2010, Buffalo often sends a passport request 8 to 12 weeks after it requests a medical examination and RPRF for applicants who do not require an interview.

Thanks gte439 . Nowadays I check email every week, I get used to their slowness . Especially when I knew NYVO reach its cap....

You were supposed to receive a tracking number from the DMP; you can check the tracking number to check whether it has been received by Ottawa or not.

Yeap, I checked with tracking number, and it was delivered for more than a month. Ecas didn't update the new status yet. I hope that Ottawa 4warded it to Buffalo already . I will send them an inquiry on Nov 24 which is 90 days from my last Med Req letter dated Aug 24

Do not panic. In my case, I received passport request earlier than my case status changed to medical received. So I can say that ecas stat is not the perfect reflection of your case.

He said that they don't have any tracking number,,they sent number of files all together..
I'v tried my level best from dmp but he Refuses to reveal anything else..
so guys is there any other way left now..

Sorry to hear that man! It's just a waiting game for you now; you can wait for another two weeks and send a case specific email to buffalo. The recent trend is buffalo is sending passport request in about a month. Good luck on that.

Thanks Sagarmatha . I got used to it, no more panic , just patiently and calmly wait . Anyway, with the fact that NYVO reach its cap I will take it easy for 2 more months
