i had sent a case specific enquiry on july, 28th and got the standard reply of "it is in queue to be reviewed may take upto 64 weeks to be reviewed"... is it safe to send another enquiry next week on august 30th??......
Quick question, what all did they mention in your letter. I see that you are getting ready to pay the RPRF. Did they ask you that in the meds or are you just being proactive? And any mention about the interview?

They want my new FBI, submit RPRF and funding availability. All of these requirements indicated clearly in the separate letter which is coming with Med Req letter in the one package. I'm just do exactly what they ask, but I don't know whether I can get FBI in 60 days ).
I think it really depends, but definitely it will be faster if the application has been transferred away from Buffalo. You should be receiving some news from LA office soon in the coming weeks. Search for other cases in the same timeframe. LA is faster compared to Seattle or Detroit office...

i recieved my 2nd AOR on 30 th april 2010 and my file transferred on 10 feb to buffalo till now no update from VO and ecas " recieved by visa office".i m worried about my file as i m not getting any update ..

my 2nd aor is 6th of may, still shows as received by visa office, and I believe it's the same for many of us.. and it's sort of a relief to know everybody is goin through the same thing, so I don't think you should be worried, we are all worried but it's just taking too long.. we should expect something within 2-3 weeks I believe.. we'll see..
