yes Becksterd..
am going to do the same thing now but buying a used car in a province like NewBrunswick is hell. the cost is almost same as a new car. in big cities like Toronto, its easy to buy one.
anyway am going to try hard as it is getting tougher without car and this immigration is getting delayed.

heard that Edmonton is one of big cities in Canada... yes i could drive it from Toronto, but as vets said about cars.. never buy a car without test driving it... so its sometimes hard to judge car by its pics.. and u may get surprised after u drive it... its a calculated risk anyway...
its actually 16hrs drive from my place to Toronto... i dont think there are any ferries between.
btw how is the University of Alberta school of business in Edmonton, am looking for some good MBA schools... is this school a good choice for MBA in consulting? share your thoughts
this is normal, they call employers for random applicants to verify... are u in the fsw2 category??..just curious cause we have similar timelines and i havent heard anything from buffalo cic....

this is actually a good sign that they are doing something on your application. hope for the best.
what i am thinking is why do they want to contact every employer for a FSw 3 cat applicant when NOC code or Job offer doesnt matter to it. may be they want to check your experience.
i dont think they do this check for every applicant, they do it randomly, thats wht i heard
Well it was an option... I mean u can test drive the car in Toronto first and then drive it there but I guess only you would know better because u would be the one driving it home...!!
As for UofAlberta... I am not to sure about its MBA program... I never went there, I was studying in Toronto and then moved here for work... So i'm really not sure...!!!

The University of Alberta is a excellent university with a great reputation. The MBA program is very good, but you may want to consider the University of Calgary if you want to be in Alberta. Calgary has the corporate headquarters, and, by attending the University of Calgary, you'll have an entry into the Calgary corporate job market.
Hey guys, I am in the wrong forum.........but I know that you all can help me regarding my confusion.
I have bank of america debit card with visa logo on it. It can be used as a credit card while purchasing stuff in grocery stores and gas stations. I was wondering if I can use this debit card to make a payment to CIC on my initial application.
