provide your AOR and some personal details. you are supposed to get a response in 48hrs
there is no guarantee that you get an accurate response, most of the time they send you standard responses, so be prepared for it.
i sent query 3times till now and i got three diff responses, so there is no consistency as well.

u must have been in Canada had u got your PR and pay taxes to this country, see how these folks missing the money we are generating.
i am also moving back to India this December, my WP expiring by then and i dont want to extend it anymore hoping that PR will come one day.
btw i have visited my local MP office and requested them to check with Buffalo VO for an accurate status, hopefully i will get that by today.
Lets hope they give true picture to the MP. VO staff have learnt how to calm down Canadian MPs also. They don't give straight forward answer to any one.

guys, if my docs reached on may 20th, 2010 and AOR was in oct 2010, then when my bfd comes up in september 2011, will they consider that as 64 weeks have passed or will they be calculating it from 2nd AOR?
Just wondering , coz i started working on getting police certificates etc for my CEC application, and i'm hoping by the time i have everything ready ( september) something would have happened with my PR application. considering my medical report (done in advance) would have reached before the BFD..

quite true. i heard from my frnds who are in a diff province didnt get any response from VO even their MP office contacted them. I called mine today and the lady told me that i am third in her list of people to find the status with the VO.
fingers crossed.
i was going through the CIC site yesterday and found that we can send email to a diff email id (i dont remember it exactly) if VO has our file for more than 19months (as per the Buffalo VO processing times) and not heard not anything from them.
it was also written there that they wont respond to queries if their file didnt cross that 19month mark.
