Hi All, I am in bit confusing position now. I have applied PR on 16th Jan however due to missing document my file got rejected. Right now I am on student visa and it is expiring in second week of July. I am unable to pay fees for my second sem i.e starting from May. College told me I cannot any letter to extend my visa as i have not paid fees which is $5000. I am hoping i will put my file in next draw as soon as i will get ITA.I have OINP and my score is 1044. My question is : Can i apply for bridging work permit? even if i am on student visa which will expire in 2 months. Can I work 20 hours? Or can I apply for work permit on OINP base? Please advice me guys. Thanks.

hey guys, do I need to attach the receipt of my work permit application online when submitting? I only attached my AOR and current work permit on the LOE section
When should I apply for BOWP? I applied for PR in November. Going to complete six months end of this month. My current work permit expires in July. Should I wait for PPR or apply for BOWP. When I called CIC, they said everything is done on my file.

i,e I am applying for one of the following
1)A work permit with the same employer.
2) An initial work permit, or a work permit with a new employer.
3)Restoration of your status as a worker.
4) Temporary resident Visa
I thought it was option 3. but if I select that I am getting error while uploading the form.

If you have a job offer/working go with option 1 or option 2 ........option 3 is for if you wp is already expired and option 4 is for the visa in passport once you have a new work permit
it might be silly but I am not working currently and my PGWP is expiring this month. Can I still bridge my work permit (BOWP) without any job? and if not, what other option do you suggest to keep my status valid?
