Current processing time for BOWP is 36 days. If you dont get your PR approved by then apply for BOWP on April 25th. I see that you got AOR in December, so more likely your pr will be approved any time soon.
In the letter there is a clause saying "This letter is not valid for travel and is not a permit allowing you to remain in Canada."
I am not able to understand this statement, is it common in all BOWP letter?
Does it means i am not allowed to travel out of country?
Can you please guide me what is the next step, should we need to apply for Visa now?
I have received an ITA. I have submitted my profile and transmitted all the documents electronically two weeks back. I only have three months of Post Study work permit remaining. I work with CIBC as an FSR (NOC Category B). I am employed full time with CIBC as an FSR since 18 months now and have a job offer letter from them. However it is not an LMIA
So what answer should I mention to the following questions - YES or NO??
Question - "Do you have a written job offer?" When the CIC asks "Do you have a written job offer?" does that mean they are referring to LMIA?
Question - "I applied for permanent residence to an office in-Canada and was determined to be eligible for permanent resident status (first stage approval)."
Question - "Have you been told by a Citizenship and Immigration Canada office that you are approved in principle for permanent residence in Canada?"
Question - "Have you submitted a permanent resident application in Canada?"
Request you to please throw some light on this at the earliest

That is the approval letter and it is written in all the approval letter for everyone,
But the original BOWP you would receive by mail in one week, you don't need to show that
Letter if your current work permit has still validity as well as you should have
have Temporary Residency Visa which is important for exit and entry,or I would suggest wait for original BOWP,
If your current work permit expires soon.

Yes it is in every BOWP. This just means that you are allowed to work. But if your citizenship is from a country that needs a Visa to enter Canada then you need yo apply for a visa if you leave Canada and come back.
Hope this helps
Applied on Feb 9th for BOWP, still no update.
I think some one already got approved for application submitted on Feb 10th.
Any one in similar timeline?
I am under Young Professional (IEC) expire date is 10 of May 2017 and this work permit cannot be extended. I applied for PR two days ago AOR 24 of March, 2017,
so I cannot apply for the BOWP, right?
My only option will be to apply for a visitor visa?
