Hey guys. Can anyone tell me how is the process of obtaining extension documents. I am sure there will be an e-mail with instructions but maybe somebody already has gone through the complete process.

No you cannot.

Here are the requirements:

You must :

currently be in Canada,
have valid status on a work permit that is due to expire within four months,
have applied for an open work permit, and
have paid the processing fee and the Open Work Permit Holder fee

Doesn't matter coz either option applies to you.
Pick whatever you like and CIC officer supposed to review your case combined with EE PR. However, be sure to remind them your EE PR profile in letter of explanation

I went through online application from Sep 30 2015, got approved and extended to March 2017

Hello there, I was curious that you still got your OINP Nomination after your BOWP expired? Which means you got your nomination without valid status in Canada?

Hi Guys,

I have just got PPR and when I move to Canada am going to sponsor my wife for PR.

Once I submit her application and its being processed can she apply for work permit.

She will be going with me as she is visa free.

OINP invited me in July, since I have applied to extend PGWP, I was working under implied status till Extention is approved

Did you update the implied status info to them? How? Thanks. I am struggling to find an answer on how to update the implied status later to them since they are too slow recently

OINP officer called me and I emailed her back BOWP AOR from my CIC account
